The ship has a length of 148 meters, a beam of 27.2 meters, a depth of 14.3 meters, and a designed speed of 14 knots. It adopts an open-top design, significantly reducing the center of gravity and increasing the number of containers that can be loaded when fully loaded. Equipped with a single-person control bridge, an electronic chart automatic navigation, and a track-keeping system, it effectively enhances automation. Moreover, it is powered by the world’s first 5S50ME methanol dual-fuel engine developed by Germany MAN Energy Solutions, and equipped with energy-saving devices such as shaft generators, adjustable propellers, and underhung flap rudders. When using methanol as fuel, which is safe, convenient, has good power performance, and generates low emissions, this ship can achieve zero carbon emissions.
