The large plate-and-shell heat exchanger is a core equipment for aromatic hydrocarbon units in refining and chemical enterprises. It is instrumental in recovering the heat of reaction oil and gas, reducing the load of the heating furnace, and lowering the energy consumption of the unit. Its performance directly affects the product quality and energy-saving indicators of the entire unit. In 2009, Lanpec provided the first large plate-and-shell heat exchanger for a Kazakhstan refinery, replacing similar foreign products for the first time in the Central Asian market and meeting the long-term operational needs of the unit. Since the signing of this project, Lanpec has mobilized elite forces to overcome challenges such as the tight supply of raw materials and short manufacturing periods, and completed factory acceptance with high quality, gaining unanimous recognition from the owner and general contractor.

In recent years, Lanpec has continuously strengthened the research and development of large plate-and-shell heat exchangers and product upgrades, consistently improving equipment performance and reliability. The latest products developed have advantages such as high heat transfer efficiency, low-pressure drop, small temperature difference between the cold and hot ends, compact structure, and high-temperature resistance. These products have been widely applied in fields such as refining, the coal chemical industry, and the fine chemical industry.

It was in Kazakhstan that the “Belt and Road Initiative” (BRI) was first announced. In the future, under the leadership of Sinomach, SUMEC will actively engage in the construction of B&R countries and regions, adhere to a balanced approach of “bringing in” and “going global, and constantly push forward international capacity cooperation through technological and product innovation, so as to yield fruitful outcomes for the economic and social development of more countries and regions in the world.
