Recently, exciting news arrived from the Review Committee for Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Construction Quality Award and the China Association of Petroleum Engineering Construction. The North Henan LNG Emergency Reserve Center project undertaken by The CPMIC’s subsidiary, China National Air Separation Engineering Co.,Ltd managed by SUMEC, was honored with the ’2022 Petroleum Quality Engineering Gold Award.’ Meanwhile, the East Henan LNG Emergency Reserve Center project received the ’2023 Petroleum Quality Engineering Award.’
According to the provisions of the ‘Petroleum Quality Engineering Selection Method’ (2022 Edition) by the China Association of Petroleum Engineering Construction, a total of 41 projects were selected for the 2022 and 2023 Petroleum Quality Engineering Awards through expert pre-screening, on-site evaluation, and approval by the Review Committee for Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Construction Quality Award. Among them, 19 received the Petroleum Quality Engineering Gold Award, 15 the Petroleum Quality Engineering Award, and 7 the Petroleum Quality Installation Engineering Award. The recognition of two projects by China National Air Separation Engineering signifies that its end-to-end project management capabilities have reached an industry-leading level.
In Henan province, China National Air Separation Engineering successfully completed the construction of four natural gas LNG storage projects of North, East, South, and Central Henan, out of a total of six LNG storage projects. Each project features a construction scale of 20,000 cubic meters (water volume) for LNG storage facilities, with a storage capacity of 12 million cubic meters. The completion of these projects provides emergency gas reserve support for areas such as Zhoukou, Zhengzhou, Jiaozuo, and Zhumadian in Henan, contributing to optimizing the energy structure and alleviating environmental pollution.
