Mr. Zhao Weilin expressed his gratitude to AboitizPower for their recognition of SUMEC Engineering. He highlighted that SUMEC will remain dedicated to fulfilling their contractual obligations and uphold the business philosophy of “building a project, creating a monument”. They will actively coordinate resources, diligently manage project timelines, quality, and safety, and make every effort to drive the progress of the project. Their goal is to achieve grid connection and power generation as soon as possible, thereby making a meaningful contribution to the development of clean energy in the Philippines.
SUMEC has established a strong presence in the Philippine market after years of efforts, with the cumulative capacity of completed and ongoing local photovoltaic and wind power projects having exceeded 650MW. This strong track record has created favorable conditions for the successful signing of this contract. Looking ahead, SUMEC will continue to closely align with the national “Belt and Road” initiative and adhere to the principles of localized operations, specialized management, and goal-oriented management in overseas project development and construction. Additionally, SUMEC will further expand its presence in the global clean energy market and prioritize the enhancement of its overseas project construction capabilities, leveraging its expertise and resources to accelerate the achievement of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
