Recently, the final list of winners of the “5th China IR Annual Awards” jointly sponsored by Roadshow China and “Excellent IR” was announced. SUMEC won the “Best Capital Market Communication Award“, which fully demonstrated the capital market’s recognition of the company.

Different from the traditional perception of the market, after years of expertise, SUMEC has developed a business format in which the supply chain and the industrial chain promote each other and go hand in hand. The industrial chain contributes as much as 50% of the profit, which is very different from the initial impression of SUMEC in the capital market. In order to help investors obtain a deeper understanding of our great progress in the industry chain in recent years, we actively reclassified our main business according to the company’s “14th Five-Year Plan” in the preparation of regular reports, and disclosed each sector in detail by industry, so as to help investors further discover the huge investment potential of the company on the basis of grasping our development and changes in a timely manner.
In terms of content presentation of the regular report, we have also been innovating continuously, changing the conventional way of applying templates in the past and starting to use personalized cover and graphics & texts, in order to show the progress of the company’s business structure to the capital market more intuitively.
We also actively went out and held the 2020 annual and 2021 first-quarter performance briefing at Shanghai Stock Exchange in the form of “on-site communication among professional investors + video live broadcast + online interaction with small and medium investors”, which received good feedback from the market. Our performance briefing was also selected as the “Best Practice Case of Public Companies” 2020 Annual Report Performance Briefing” by the China Association for Public Companies together with those of 50 public companies including Ping An Insurance, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Vanke A, and LONGi.

In order to demonstrate our efforts towards “green development” to more high-quality long-term institutions at home and abroad, we have actively prepared the ESG report on the basis of voluntary disclosure of social responsibility reports for four consecutive years. The preparation work has now officially started and SUMEC’s first ESG report will meet the market in April next year.
