On January 23, Tian Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Classification Society Certification Co, Ltd. (CCSC), and his delegation visited SUMEC Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as SUMEC); Zhao Weilin, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SUMEC, and Xin Zhonghua, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Safety Director of SUMEC, welcomed Tian Wei and his delegation.
Zhao Weilin welcomed the visit of Tian Wei and his delegation. He said that SUMEC and CCSC are highly compatible in terms of strategic layout and business planning and maintain close cooperation in the fields of management system certification, ships, and shipping. He looked forward to actively expanding cooperation areas in the future, and strengthening cooperation in green and low-carbon development, new energy, new materials, digitalization, and other fields, so as to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefits and win-win results.
Tian Wei said that as one of the earliest certification institutions established in China, CCSC actively contributes to the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry and promotes the internationalization of Chinese standards. CCSC and SUMEC have a deep foundation and broad space for cooperation and hope that the two sides will give full play to their resource advantages, strengthen cooperation and communication, seize the opportunities of the times, lead the development of the industry, and create a new situation of high-quality development.
Subsequently, SUMEC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CCSC. Tian Wei, Zhao Weilin, and Li Cuiping, Deputy General Manager of the CCSC Marketing Department (presided over the work) witnessed the signing.
Xin Zhonghua and Liu Zhongji, General Manager of CCSC Jiangsu Branch, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties; the two parties also signed a sub-agreement on safety production cooperation. According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in safety and quality, green and low-carbon development, digital intelligence drive, management improvement, product quality, and other aspects to promote mutual benefit and common development.
CCSC is a specialized institution of the China Classification Society (CCS) that undertakes onshore inspection and certification business and has more than 40 kinds of qualifications such as system certification, product certification, container inspection, special equipment testing, safety production standardization assessment in the transportation industry, and voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction.
CCSC Marketing Department, Jiangsu Branch; as well as relevant persons in charge of SUMEC Operation Management Department, Safety Production Department, and SUMEC Marine Co., Ltd. participated in the above activities.
