On November 6th, the SINOMACH trading sub-group signing ceremony at the 5th China International Import Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. As an important member of SINOMACH, SUMEC actively uses the CIIE platform to expand the import of high-quality products and introduce high-end equipment, bulk commodities, consumer products, etc. It has signed a total of 16 projects and achieved new breakthroughs in procurement scale, further integrating into the domestic and international dual circulation, contributing to smooth global industrial chain and supply chain and promoting the transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing. Working Together
In his speech, Ding Hongxiang noted that SINOMACH has long collaborated with partners from a variety of nations to match the best machinery available worldwide for China’s manufacturing industry, support industrial transformation and upgrading, and further solidify the position of China’s manufacturing. At the CIIE, it will sign 19 import procurement agreements with 13 partners, with a contract value of about 2 billion US dollars in total. So far, SINOMACH has signed a total of 80 contracts on the CIIE platform, with a transaction amount of 19.1 billion US dollars. SINOMACH will continue to unswervingly implement the new development concept, bravely undertake the mission in smoothing the international circulation and promoting the domestic and international dual circulation, and bravely move forward on the road of leading the development of China’s machinery industry.
SINOMACH signed a cooperation agreement with China International Import Expo Bureau and SUMEC on the e-CIIE platform, and was awarded the title of “Digital Exhibition Platform Construction and Operation Partner of CIIE” issued by the China International Import Expo Bureau.
Introduce high-end equipment to help industrial transformation and upgrading: SUMEC signed a memorandum of cooperation and a purchase agreement for high-speed winding machines with Oerlikon Barmag, Zweigniederlassung der Oerlikon Textile GmbH & Co. and Japanese TMT Machinery INC. to promote the refinement of the spinning industry and promote technological upgrading. It signed a procurement agreement with a Norwegian company, Hycast AS, or low-pressure melting and casting production lines, an attempt to help domestic enterprises upgrade equipment and increase production capacity by introducing advanced fully automated casting technology. It also signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Power to further strengthen cooperation between the two parties and help the transformation and upgrading of related industries.
Practice the concept of green development and promote high-quality development: SUMEC signed a film production line procurement agreement with Brueckner Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, a German enterprise, to provide high-quality film raw materials for lithium battery manufacturing and other industries, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the new energy industry. It signed a procurement agreement with Marubeni Corporation for lithium battery separator manufacturing equipment to increase the production capacity of lithium battery separator and help the green and low-carbon industrial development. It has signed an engine and generator set purchase agreement with Rolls-Royce Power Systems for three consecutive years, aiming to provide more environmentally friendly and greener power for China’s advanced equipment manufacturing, new infrastructure, data centers and other application scenarios, and helping to achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
Introduce bulk commodity raw materials to help smoothen the industrial chain and supply chain: SUMEC signed coal procurement agreements with Express Well Resources Pte Ltd and LX International Corporation from Indonesia to meet the demand for coal for domestic power supply and ensure the supply and stable price of bulk commodities.
It signed a school wear procurement agreement with the British school uniform brand TRUTEX, actively injecting new impetus into the reform of school wear in China.
Join forces to share global development opportunities: It reached cooperation intentions with the British Department for International Trade, Dutch Sino Business Promotions, and Korea International Trade Association, and signed a memorandum of understanding, laying the foundation for cross-border cooperation in the later stage.

After the signing ceremony, Yang Yongqing participated in the Digital Intelligence Empowering High-end Equipment Summit Forum hosted by the China International Import Expo Bureau and SINOMACH, delivered a keynote speech – “Financial Empowerment and Trade Connectivity Accelerate the Development and Upgrading of High-end Equipment Industry” – focusing on forging own strengths, serving the needs of the country, innovating service connotations, helping industrial development, strengthening cross-chain collaboration, and promoting industrial prosperity. He also shared SUMEC’s experience in deepening in-depth cooperation with domestic and foreign financial institutions and domestic equipment manufacturing enterprises, increasing product and service innovation, and better serving the real economy with innovative financial development.
