Recently, SUMEC Complete Equipment & Engineering Co. Ltd. affiliated to SUMEC Group Corporation (SUMEC) has successfully won a bid on the Jintan Changdang Lake Water Plant Phase II and Supporting Project in Changzhou.

The project aims to supply sufficient water and improve the quality of supplied water in Jintan District, thereby improving the security and safety of urban water supply in this region. The project is to expand the plant’s daily supplying capacity to 100,000 tons. Water is supplied from the Changdang Lake and the Xinmeng River. The project consists of three works, namely water purification, partial technological modification of the Phase I Project, and chlorination system renovation at the Changjin Booster Pump Station. Conventional, advanced and sludge treatment techniques will be adopted.
