SUMEC Hardware & Tools Co., Ltd., SUMEC Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. and SUMEC Textile & Light Industry Co., Ltd. affiliated to SUMEC Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as SUMEC) have been awarded with AEO Advanced Certification recently by China Customs according to the announcement issued on Credit Publicity Platform of Import and Export Business of Customs of the People’s Republic of China. So far, five secondary enterprises of SUMEC have been certified by AEO.
Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) is an important system advocated by the World Customs Organization for establishing a partnership between customs and business. Enterprise with AEO Advanced Certification, as a symbol of excellent credit, good operation and standardized management, is the highest credit rating granted by China Customs. Enterprises that pass AEO Advanced Certification can enjoy the simplified customs clearance procedure and the convenience measures for customs clearance provided by the customs of 26 economies and 52 AEO mutual recognition countries (regions). Therefore, AEO Advanced Certification could be viewed as a “green pass” for global trade. Many SUMEC enterprises have passed AEO Advanced Certification, which will further make contribution to the development of the company’s import and export business.
