Crushing Technology – Integrated Safe Crushing
The BHS crushing system is a sealed and integrated crusher that provides safety protection. It is suitable for both battery modules and battery cells. Depending on the feed state, it can be divided into two-stage crushing or single-stage crushing. BHS’s self-developed and designed cutting and crushing tools can effectively disintegrate battery materials. Due to the crushing of the shell and the mutual friction between the materials during the crushing process, the black powder can be effectively released, laying the foundation for fine processing in downstream processes.

Drying Technology – Low Temperature + Vacuum
The average temperature during the drying process is 100-120℃. By using the “low-temperature + vacuum” method, the production of toxic gases (HF) can be greatly suppressed. The electrolyte that evaporates at low temperatures is recovered through two-stage condensers at the back end. This process not only suppresses the residual organic matter in the output but also avoids the generation of oxide impurities and toxic gases at high temperatures.

Vacuum low-temperature drying can prevent the generation of impurities due to oxidation and has no thermal decomposition. Therefore, the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the material after drying are basically unchanged. The residue generated during the recycling process will not produce slag deposition as in the pyrometallurgical process, resulting in higher recovery rates, lower energy consumption, shorter time, and a smaller carbon footprint.
Sorting Technology – Multi-stage Combined Sorting
Through multi-stage screening processes such as circular shaking multiple-level sifter, zigzag sifter, and air table sifter, the waste is first separated into different particle size levels. Then, heavy materials are removed again, and the remaining lightweight materials are finely crushed. According to the particle size and density indicators, black powder, copper, aluminum, and plastic are sorted and extracted step by step to ensure the purity and precision of the final extract.
