Recently, the naming and delivery ceremony of CROWN 63PLUS Bulk Carrier Hull was held by Sumec Marine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “SUMEC Marine”), which is affiliated to SUMEC Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “SUMEC”), and was attended by Ms. Jacqueline Chao, the namer, Zhao Shiqing, Executive Chairman of WAH KWONG, Zhang Lianhuai, President of CMB Financial Leasing, Ge Siyue, Senior Vice President of Bureau Veritas for Greater China, Zhao Weilin, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of SUMEC, and relevant heads of SUMEC Marine.
CROWN 63 PLUS Bulk Carrier Hull built by SUMEC Marine for WAH KWONG has a total length of 199.99 m, a molded breadth of 32.26 m and a molded depth of 18.80 m. The ship, with completely independent intellectual property rights, is designed based on a large number of energy-saving and consumption-reducing technologies, and can meet the IMO EEDI III requirements and Tier III emission standard; the ship is highly intelligent and can provide effective technical support for the safe and efficient operation; with various excellent technical indicators in the market, the ship leads the industry in terms of economic efficiency, energy saving, cargo worthiness, safety and environmental protection.
Since the beginning of this year, SUMEC Marine has successfully delivered 15 new ships, including 5 CROWN 63 PLUS Bulk Carrier Hulls.
At the naming ceremony, Zhao Weilin thanked WAH KWONG and CMB Financial Leasing for their support.
