Manufacturing investment grew by 10.4% in June, maintaining high growth resilience. Relevant sources from listed company Do-fluoride revealed that its high-end product, G5 electronic grade hydrofluoric acid, will be formally put into production in the second half of the year for a 10,000-ton expansion project after passing the verification of global giants in wafer manufacturing. Electronic grade hydrofluoric acid is one of the high-purity wet electronic chemicals, widely used in large-scale integrated circuits, thin-film liquid crystal displays, semiconductors, and other microelectronics industries. It is mainly used for cleaning and corrosion chips, as an analytical reagent, and to prepare high-purity fluorine-containing chemicals. 12-inch wafer manufacturing generally requires G4 or above, i.e., G5 grade hydrofluoric acid.

Key Point:China is becoming the world’s larger liquid crystal display (LCD) industry base, with increased demand for electronic chemicals used as cleaning and etching agents for integrated circuits (ICs), thin-film liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCDs), and semiconductors. There is still much room for long-term growth.
